Recently we sent ten used Japanese trucks to our customer in Thailand. We used a special technique to ship the trucks to cut down shipping costs. This is a good news for our Asian customers (Thailand, Indonesia, Singaore, Malaysia, Laos, Philipppines etc). To save on shipping cost, we shipped two trucks in a unit package as shown in the following figure.

In this example, the shipping cost per truck was approximately 350,000 Yen. However the shipping cost for 2 trucks sent in a unit package was only about 400,000 yen. Thus there was a saving of about 300,000 yen !!

This weekend I went to see chery blossoms  with my friends who had come from Thailand and Laos.  Cherry blossoms are callled ‘Sakura‘ in Japanese and are very beautiful indeed.  Though there were few cherry blossoms this time, my friends managed to buy 14 used Japanese trucks in the used auto auction at Kobe.  My friends were much workaholic. In their next visit, I’m planning to take them to Universal Studio Japan in Osaka.
